For the 27th time, the starting signal for the Glocknerkönig, the cycling event for everyone (participation possible without a licence), will be fired punctually at 7:00 a.m. on 2 June 2024. Austria's highest mountain, the Grossglockner, attracts cycling fans from all over Europe to #bruckfusch and challenges the approximately 2,000 participants to conquer it by pedalling. From the toll station in Ferleiten, the Grossglockner High Alpine Road is car-free. The finish of the "Classic" route is after 27km at 2,445m at the Fuscher Törl, in the "Ultra" category you have to grit your teeth for another 127m of altitude difference and seven hairpin bends on cobblestones.
