
Objective
We are accustomed to running or cycling at a certain speed. When we need to get faster, we can find ourselves overtaxed when it comes to technique. If you want to become faster, then you not only need to do targeted training for your cardiovascular system, but you also need to consciously practice running at a higher speed with the changed movement sequences.
Technique
When you have finished your endurance training, do 4-10 strides. Continuously increase your speed over a duration of 10-12 seconds. At the end, you will find yourself virtually sprinting. Take a break for about one minute and repeat this again.
Focus
Run through all the speeds, from very slow to very fast. High (step) frequency, clean technique.
