V on the wall
Description

Objective

Interestingly, this exercise counteracts pain in the back. Shortened and tensed inner thighs can cause pain in the small of the back. This is because there are so-called internal rotators, which remain under tension and particularly contract when under stress. They originate behind in the lumbar spine and sacroiliac joint. Continual tension there leads to back pain, which is actually caused by the inner thighs.

Technique

Position yourself with your behind really close to the wall for two minutes. Spread your legs, pull your buttocks to the floor, and leave a small arch (lordosis) in the lumbus. This means, not pressing your vertebrae into the floor.

Focus

Releases muscles, general relaxation.
