The Sihlseelauf will take place in Einsiedeln on 22 August 2026. The tried-and-tested route leads into the Schwantenau nature reserve and back to the village along the shores of Lake Sihl. 

Once again, there will be a choice of route lengths on Saturday morning, including the main race over 14 kilometres, a 7.4 km route for running or walking/Nordic walking, and a 3.75 km route for walking and Nordic walking. The runners’ festival in the monastery village kicks off with children’s races over three different distances.
