The youth sprint is taking place for the 40th time this year. The popular cross-country skiing event for young people will be held at the Promulins Arena in Samedan. The sprint race gives children and young people the opportunity to take part in a competitive race.

The participants start directly in heats and compete in direct duels. The aim is to qualify for the next round or, at best, the final heats. The award ceremony takes place directly after the final heat in the finish area.
