The event is aimed at all running enthusiasts, is licence-free and open to all. You can choose between a 10 or 20 km course. You run from St. Moritz-Bad along the lakes towards Sils and back. The 10km course turns at the course marshal after 5km in Surlej.

In the first year we gave our run the meaningful name: Vollmondlauf (Full Moon Run). Because at full moon the Engadine is particularly bright and in combination with the breathtaking mountain scenery a wonderful experience! At the end of June, the days are longest and the evening temperatures are perfect for running. After the first run - you might say also because the full moon was not visible - we decided to rename the run to MONDLAUF. Which actually fits even better, we think
