At the New Year's Marathon Zurich, the first marathon, half marathon and quarter marathon of the new year will start at midnight on New Year's Day. In the Unterrohr sports hall in Schlieren, the starting signal is given with a light show, moderation and music, and the runners are sent off on the 10.55km lap along the Limmat under a fireworks sky.
