Thanks to its central location in Europe, Switzerland is served by international trains from over 12 countries. Within Switzerland, Intercity trains take you directly from Basel to Interlaken Ost and from there on to Grindelwald. From Zurich and Geneva you have to change trains in Bern. The trains run every half hour.

You can reach Interlaken by car from Basel/Zurich/Geneva via Berne or Lucerne/Brünigpass. From the south you reach Interlaken via Grimselpass or via Simplonpass and then Lötschberg-Autoverlad. There follow the road signs to Grindelwald.


Parking at the Eiger Ultra Trail

At the event area in Grindelwald there is the Eiger + parking garage (fee required). In Burglauenen (start E35 & post E51) there is no parking available.


Further recommendation:

- Arrive the night before and spend the night in Grindelwald, vehicle stays at the accommodation.
- Parking garage at the Eiger+ site (open 24h, chargeable)
- Parking garage in the terminal (open 24h, chargeable)
